The aim of the notified draft Technical Regulation is to establish the technical and labelling requirements that must be met by plugs and fixed or portable socket-outlets for alternating current (a.c.) only, intended for use in household and similar electrical appliances, either indoors or outdoors, to ensure that they do not endanger human life and safety. Last Date for Comments: 10/13/2014 (Texts provided by the World Trade Organization.)
