Maximizing Your SBA Dynamic Small Business Search Profile Ever wonder how federal agencies identify small businesses for federal contracting opportunities? Federal agencies are required to use the SBA Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS) engine to identify and market to small businesses; however, there are specific things contracting officers look for in your DSBS profile. Don't be ignored, come and join SBA at this two(2) hour workshop where we will focus on sharing with you some tips and tricks that could land you your next federal contract. The training will be held at the SBA Dallas Fort Worth District Office on July 29th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. REGISTER HERE.
Financial Ratios for Business Executives This workshop is designed for business owners who have never been exposed to financial ratios. The workshop is an introductory level training designed to help business owners understand and use financial ratios in making sound business decisions. Please bring your business' financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, etc.), a calculator, a pen and a scratch pad. The training will be held at the SBA Dallas Fort Worth District Office on July 30th from 2:00 - 4:00. REGISTER HERE.
Defining Project Requirements This workshop focuses on communication skills and defining a project's scope of work. We will use a simulation exercise that will expose companies to the experience of operating in an environment of limited information. The companies will have to cope with ambiguous details, changes to the project, and the developing the skills to stay focused on achieving the objective. Lastly, the companies will gather the information to define the scope of work on the project. The training will be held at the SBA Dallas Fort Worth District Office from 2:00 - 4:00. REGISTER HERE.

How it works Just like a class you'd attend in person, courses are taught by a live instructor on a scheduled day and time. The Web-enabled Instructor-Led training experience has much in common with the classroom equivalent. Students:
From your computer, you'll link to an instructor in a live, real-time, interactive learning experi-ence. You'll become part of a virtual classroom where you can ask questions, seek guidance and participate in class discussions and small group exercises.
For Course Details and to Register: https://stoverteam.adobeconnect.com/admin/show-event-catalog?folder-id=1233023668. There is no cost for 7(j) eligible businesses. Workshop information: Phyllis Embree or Chris Strudthoff , sbaworkshops@stoverteam.com (770) 423-9888. To find your local SBA Office, visit: (www.sba.gov/sba-direct).
All SBA programs and services are provided on a nondiscriminatory basis | Reasonable accommodations will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance
