Offers opportunities and resources available to help Veterans start a career in farming and ranching, including information on loans, grants, and where to find help and technical assistance. Use this list from the Library of Congress to find repositories collecting and preserving oral histories, memoirs and other materials related to Veterans and wartime experiences. Collects, preserves and makes accessible the personal accounts of American war Veterans. Use the database search to browse the VHP collection. Records, preserves and shares the stories of Veterans, Service Members and military families. Offers free calling cards and SPAWAR pins to deployed Service Members. Provides transportation and adoption assistance for retiring and retired military working dogs. Provides athletic opportunities and adaptive sports equipment with special events specifically for wounded Veterans. Provide workshops and support services to Veterans and their families that are returning to civilian life or dealing with challenges. Uses scuba diving as a tool for therapeutic and psychological value to help heal the wounded Veterans. Provides training and certification for disabled Veterans and their chosen dive buddy from start to finish. Part of the Cody Unser First Step Foundation. Offer Veterans with special needs outdoor therapeutic recreational and social activities to promote healing in a safe and natural setting. Provides support, guidance and counseling services to individuals and families. Arranges for gift boxes to be sent on behalf of deployed Service Members to family members at home during the holidays. The boxes contain a variety of pampering products and a hand written note to help comfort and support military spouses and mothers during separation.
